LightHeart Academy is a licensed home childcare program where children feel safe, welcomed, and loved. Our small group allows us to provide attentive, individualized care while supporting each child’s development. Through purposeful play, hands-on activities, and consistent routines, children build confidence, friendships, and skills for their next stage of learning. Meals and daily parent updates are included, creating a caring partnership between home and childcare.
Hi, I’m Yasmin, the provider behind LightHeart Academy. I’m a mother of four and hold a bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Development from San Diego State University. With over 10 years of experience working with children, including four years as a preschool teacher, I bring both professional knowledge and a parent’s understanding to my work. My training includes CPR, first aid, preventive health, and curriculum planning. I’m committed to caring for children with patience and kindness, supporting their individual needs, and building trusting relationships with families.
Located in Spring Valley, our welcoming childcare home offers comfortable indoor spaces and a backyard for children to learn, play, and feel at home.
