It was important to me that I enroll her somewhere structured where s...Read morehe would feel safe, happy, be stimulated and challenged intellectually, continue to hit her developmental milestones, and be surrounded by love. I was clear I didn’t want her to just be babysat all day. Ms. Donna provides my baby girl with the environment where everything on that checklist gets accomplished, and I’m eternally grateful to have found her daycare. When her dad or I drop her off, my daughter leaps out of our arms towards Ms. Donna because she loves her so much and enjoys being in Ms. Donna’s daycare. For the past 8 months that she’s been enrolled, my baby has made friends, gone on cute little field trips to the library, expanded her palate and eaten all types of good foods, played outside (weather permitting), and just been consistently loved on. Ms. Donna has kept her on a schedule that complements the one we keep our daughter on at home, and Ms. Donna sends me photos throughout the day so I can see in real time how my baby is being stimulated and challenged in my absence. She gives my little girl a solid foundation that’s different from all the daycares I toured before enrolling her here. Everyday that I drop her off, I leave with a sigh of relief knowing that we made the best decision for our baby at this stage of her life so far by enrolling her here. For us as the parents, Ms. Donna’s care and attention for our daughter gives us the peace of mind we need to know our daughter is safe and will have a good day until we pick her up after work. When she has needed to call me, she gets in front of the frantic, parental worry in my voice when I answer the phone by immediately reassuring me, “Everything is fine;” after that, she’ll get to the reason for her call. That small gesture is proof of how tuned in she is with us as parents. She’s rolled with the punches and my requests that may have been unusual, and she’s never made me feel judged or weird for making them. She understands my “new mom” anxiety and handles my baby and me both with loving gloves. For the holidays, she’s sent my baby home with cute picture frame projects like my baby will do in school one day, and I cherish them. I have the picture she took of my baby and put in a gingerbread shaped frame for Christmas up in my office to this day, and likely always will. Ms. Donna has treated my baby and my little family like we were her family, and that ongoing gesture has meant the world to us; the love she has extended will make us keep coming back until the sad day when my baby is too old to be enrolled. So if you’re looking for a daycare that will be a home away from home for your child, and that will give your baby a solid pre-preschool foundation, this is the one you need to pick.
