I would be a great fit for child care! I grew up with many cousins, and family friends. Meaning from a young age I have been around children and known how to take care of them. I have been an actual babysitter for at least 5 years, and I have been welcomed into many different homes. I have done long shifts , and short shifts . I also have watched many different amounts of kids at the same time. Along with having three years of an entire summer nanny job for the same family every day . With this being said I am able to do many things like clean, cook, help with homework , play, and take the children to needed places. I also have drove the kids I nanny for, to many different fun day activities. Along with being able to take the kids to different pools, because of my ability to swim. I form great relationships with the kids where they know they are safe and cared for. And I believe in specific learning techniques that will not make children feel bad about themselves . Another thing I am familiar with is dealing with autism. I stayed in Colorado for a month to watch three kids every day , and one had autism. I was able to learn what things would help him in specific situations. Meaning I am able to deal with disabilities. I also have watched very young kids, meaning I know how to change diapers, burp, rock,feed, lay down for naps and etc. All together these skills present great qualities of a person in child care.
