Avery G.
I grew up with four younger siblings, so I've spent the vast majority of my life working with kids. However, eventually I was old enough to start babysitting properly and regularly watched a pair of siblings while I was in high school. I did take a break from childcare as I finished my senior year of high school and got settled into my freshman year of college at Purdue, but after teaching science camps at the Kentucky Science Center this summer, I'm ready to start working with smaller groups of kids again! I am a Neurobiology and Physiology major with minors in French and Psychology; as a STEM major with minors in social studies and liberal arts, I am more than comfortable offering homework help with most subjects commonly taught in schools, such as math, English, history (world and U.S.), and of course science! I am not fluent in French, but I am biliterate and can absolutely help with that all the way through high school levels. I am capable of performing basic first aid and CPR; my certifications did expire, but I'm willing to get it renewed with financial assistance if requested.
