Hello! My name is Vanessa Fajardo. I am 30 years old. I have recently moved from Califronia (where I had my original Home Daycare) to Texas. My dream since I was six years old was to become a teacher. While at church one day, I received news that a preschool was hiring a teacher for 2-3 year olds. I began working at this preschool for 3 years, during my last year I met a child who had severe autism. This was my first experience teaching a child with special needs. While continuing to work at the preschool, I was offered a job to work exclusively with special needs children and children with delays. Shortly after taking on this new role, I decided to change my career to Elementary and Special Education. In the year of 2021, I had my daughter which motivated me to become an in-home daycare provider to be with her and help her grow for her first most important years.
