Trista T.
Hi, my name is Taylor! I grew up in North West Arkansas in a large family of 7 and quickly learned I had a passion for caring for individuals in my community. Being the second oldest and growing up home schooled meant I needed to babysit and care for my siblings often, however, the passion to care and work with my community started growing when I was given the chance to go to Honduras when I was 11 years old, I helped a team of dentist work with different villages to provide free health care. My passion grew after that and I volunteered at camp Barnabas at the age of 12, a camp that meets the needs of people with disabilities so they can have an incredible camp experience. I also volunteered at community nursing homes and was the game coordinator on Wednesdays. This passion for helping others led me to purse a Theatre Degree at the University of Arkansas. Since graduating with a B.A. I've been working part time with an acting company called LatinX Theatre Project (LXTP) which is a group of professionals and young artists-in-training that are committed to continuing an inclusive conversation about community identity through our devised theatre performances. As I continue saving up to purse my dream of creating theatre, I would love the opportunity to serve your family and build connections that makes you feel safe and protected.
