Elizabeth S.
I have learned to overcome traumatizing situations and turn them into learning opportunities. Growing up, I learned the responsibilities of taking care of others above all else. I learned not just one person matters, but the community as a whole. I believe in self-sacrifice to save the many against the individual. The traumatizing situations I was forced into in childhood, helped me stay the person I always wanted to be. I never want to be the darkness in someone else's life, I will forever be the light amongst the darkness. Some may think it's childish, but in all honesty it's the bravest thing one can do.
I am always able to stay professional at work and I never bring my home life to work. I believe good work is always what should be the focus, not petty personal issues. Whether they be home issues, or work issues, I keep my mind focused on the task at hand. I feel connected to good work, especially if the mission statement is something I truly believe in. I am a animal lover that believes us humans are their voice.
I am eager to work for the bright future I have planned.
