I am 24 yrs old and have been helping children grow since the age of 13. My mother was a single mom with two kids. Me being the oldest, took on the responsibility of helping my mom with my younger brother. That included watching him while my mom worked 2-3 jobs, helping with homework, cooking meals, and setting up a good nighttime and morning routine. As I got older and friends and family had kids I began babysitting occasionally. Five yrs ago my childhood best friend had her first son [my first godson] and needed help as she struggled with postpartum depression as a single mom. I helped raise him until the age of 3. I love children and have always been naturally connected to both children and animals. My mom described me as a "mini mommy" growing up and I've always wanted to be a mom myself. I'm big on mental health and education. I love hands-on education and crafts and can cook meals as well as light house cleaning.
I have taken a babysitting course in high school with the American Red Cross Association that included a CPR certification. I also have two god children ages 5 and 3 that I have helped raise as well as growing up as an older sister. I have also babysat for family and friend.
