Katie Q.
I am a great caregiver because, I am interactive with children. I make sure children have routine, structure, rules, and have fun! I make learning fun. I have boundaries for myself and will not tolerate any disrespect and teach my children to have manners and to give respect and it's given from me. I get down on their level and speak to them. I love children and love praising children and believe on positive reinforcement. I do not have a vehicle at the moment but do have a listen and do not have any criminal history whatsoever.
I have my Certified Medical Assistant License. I have worked at the U of I Pediatric Subspecialty Clinic. I also helped raised my nephew who is nineteen now. I have four children of my own. They are all boys and there ages are 7, 6, 3, and 1. I also, have taken a parenting class at the Crittenton Center and have my certificate from that class. Also, am taking a parenting class at the Children's Home. I also was a foster parent to my nephew's who were twelve and newborn at the time. I had them for a couple of years before they were returned to my sister. I made all the requirements for DCFS to be a foster parent for my nephew's.
