Kelly Zee C.
I was inspired to pursue education after interning at the Barnard Center for Toddler Development as a high school senior. This opportunity taught me about the richness of child development and the importance of creating enriching and responsive learning environments. Since then, I have developed an educational and care philosophy that prioritizes relationship-building, socio-emotional learning, and compassion.
I completed a B. A. in Educational Studies and Psychology and have obtained a breadth of knowledge about child development, education, and behavioral management through academia, volunteer work, and professional opportunities.
I have experience as an academic tutor (from elementary to SAT/ACT), in reading intervention, as a elementary school pod teacher, a pre-school 3s teacher, and STEAM camp director and curriculum developer.
