MaKaila C.
Hi! I’m Rebecca, a CPR/First Aid certified caregiver with a strong background in working with neurodivergent children and supporting diverse learning needs. I currently serve as a special education teaching assistant with Knox County Schools and am pursuing my Master’s in Special Education. My experience includes mentoring at the Boys & Girls Club, teaching children’s cooking classes, and providing one-on-one academic support, including tutoring in STEM subjects.
I take a patient, strengths-based approach to caregiving and create calm, engaging environments where children feel safe and understood. I’m experienced in supporting children with autism, ADHD, and learning differences, and I always strive to meet each child where they are—whether through sensory-friendly activities, structured routines, or individualized support that encourages growth and confidence.
