I am energetic, active, caring, and patient. I grew up in Houston and I am currently pursuing a degree in engineering. I first gained experience in caregiving by taking care of my sister whenever my parents were at work, this responsibility has been on going for the past 8 years. During high school I was a volunteer at Spring Spirit where I assisted children ages 9-17 with after school homework, mentoring and outdoor related activities. More recently, this past summer I worked at a country club in Houston taking care of children aged 5-7 years old. I engaged with the children in various activities including crafting, coloring, field sports, and swimming. I served them lunches and snacks based on individual dietary restrictions. Furthermore, I provided leadership and served as a role model by reinforcing kindness, sportsmanship, and following rules.
