I've been taking care of kids and pets for 11 years now. I have two younger siblings that I practically raised myself, then began to babysit or housesit or pet sit for everybody in town. I used to work every summer at a church for a kids camp and every year the kids I would teach would tell me how much they wanted me to be their teacher again the next year. Right now I work at Trader Joe's and sometimes I get myself into trouble because kids will come up to my register and I'll talk to them for a good 10 minutes. I've been told that kids seem to be drawn to me, and that I always know what to say and do. I take pride in that because I love kids and it makes me so happy to see them smile and I love to hear all of the silly little things they have to say. Overall it brings me joy to help people, whether they're kids or little old ladies.
