I have been working with children in one way or another since I was 14. I started with babysitting, then went on to work at my churches early childhood center where I still work. I have also been an afterschool counselor, a CDC teacher, and a preschool teacher. I am water safety certified and have been teaching swimming lessons for over 5 years. I have been a certified CNA for 4 years, and was an ER tech for 2 years. I am currently an accelerated BSN student at Texas Tech, but I have my bachelor’s in biology and health sciences with experience in child development. My goal is to become a Certified Flight Nurse when I get my RN as well as earn my emergency nurse and pediatric emergency nurse certifications.
