I am 23years old I am a single mother of two , I have a one year old daughter who will be two in December and a three year old son , I have volunteered at daycares prior to me having any children , I’ve dedicated my time after school helping my baby cousins with school work feeding and bathing them .
I am a child safety mother / sitter meaning I am very aware and responsible for any child’s safety , safety comes first I am very experienced in child safety I do not have my cpr certificate yet but I’ve been in a few situations where I had to stop a child from choking & also in high school we were taught on what to do in anatomy so I am experienced in choking hazards / also know cpr .
As far as learning I am very firm when it comes to children education or just education overall for the children I sit I provide a education/learning experience in ,shapes , colors , abcs , 123’s , multiplication history , science and also reading . I do allow snack time in the evening after lunch and after dinner .
Kids nutrition and health is very important to me , I understand some parents are very strict on certain foods snacks or drinks and I am very understanding and respect any and all parents wishes , if a parent gives me a specific diet/ meal list for their child I will go based on the diet /meal list provided , I am a mother of veggies and fruit and protein intake I do believe every child should have one veggie or fruit with every meal or every other meal depending on the time of day .
Outside time or play time , before the children’s lunch I would allow them to play for 30 minutes to 45 minutes and when it’s time to come in the children would wash their hands for lunch and eat after lunch time would be nap time and after nap time the children would get snack time and if would be playtime for another 30 minutes and that would be the end of playtime for then.
