Lori W.
Hi! My name is Maria. I started working with children when I was still a child myself. My great-aunt ran a center for children with special needs and I took on as much as I could to assist after school, on the weekends, and every summer for the next 15 years. The work included educational and physical learning (physical therapy).
I was also a scholarship student from the moment I entered 7th grade until I graduated college. This opened a lot of doors for me to help other students receive scholarships through tutoring, mostly in English (reading and writing), and Math.
I have no children of my own as of yet, I still have a few years left before I start my own family. However, I appreciate spending time with children of all levels of ability. I am very attentive and patient.
I also have a few years of professional chef experience, so I can assist with meal prep or feeding. My focus is to provide something delicious and nutritious. I pride myself in my ability to sneak in all the veggies into a meal with no one noticing.
In my spare time, I hang out with my pack: my spouse, our two big dogs, and one freeloading kitty. I sing and read a lot. I also do a lot of DIY around my house. Anyway, that's me! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
