Everyone in my family is a teacher and my parents are hired to teach teachers how to teach. I've been working in aftercare programs since I was in 5th grade and I've spent the majority of my life caring for children of all ages and needs. I've learned how to care for children will ranging special needs, making them feel cared for and understood while also keeping them safe. My job as a swim instructor really helped me be able to have eyes in the back of my head and always be aware of how children are feeling and behaving.
