Back in LA, I've babysat my siblings for 4 years, one is 5 now and the other is 13. I love working with kids during high school I've managed a group of students talking about college success. One of the things I always carry with me when taking care of kids is teaching then good manners by explaining them why and how? I feel like that is a great way to communicate to a child and for them to learn.
