Lexi D.
Let me give you all a little introduction of myself:
My name is Kaitlyn, but I prefer to be called Kait. I am an eighteen-year-old senior who has been a member of the Early College High School Program since 2019. I started out attending Ivy Tech half-day from Benjamin Bosse High School. I am on track to receive my academic honors diploma and associate's degree in psychology this coming May. I am also a member of Ivy Tech's chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. After graduation, I will be attending the University of Evansville as a psychology major with enough scholarships to cover my entire tuition over the next four years. Upon my graduation in 2026, I will be attending graduates school to obtain my Doctorate Degree.
I am a member of the ECHS mentoring program as well as their student council's public relations committee. However, my extracurricular activities expand far beyond this school. I am also a member of BBHS's student council, international club, spell bowl team, as well as captain of its science and history academic bowl team.
When I am not at school or participating in extra-curricular activities, I am usually helping my mom by taking care of my 11-year-old brother. He is getting independent enough to do the majority of tasks on his own so I am now looking to use my childcare and educational skills for work. I have been a mother figure to him for his entire life so I am very well versed in taking care of children of a wide range of ages. I have also acted as a tutor for him throughout his life so it being paired with my high education, makes me the perfect person to help assist your child with any schoolwork needed.
