I will be honest and say I have never worked a daycare job before. However, I have two older sisters who are quite older than me and between them both they have 5 kids. I have cared for 2 of them on and off since they were 1 and 3. They are now 6 and 8. I have worked as a CNA for 2 years now. Caring for people is all I have known since then. While I love working with my residents and the stories they have to share, I often feel I am ready to branch out onto something new! Kids create such a fun environment and they also have so much to teach you about life. They bring a radiance into my life and I love being around them.
I graduated from Olivet high school in 2018. I attended Kellogg community college for 2 years to persue nursing- I no longer attend. I obtained my CNA license in 2019 and it expire in august 2021. I was also certified in CPR and BLS but both have also expired and I am currently not certified but I remember how to perform if (god-forbid) necessary.
