Samantha L.
I have seven years of experience with children. I have been working with children for the past six years in many ways than one. During my time at YSU Beeghly College of Education, I have spent my time tutoring students for course requirements each semester. I have also completed to semesters of preclincal at Youngstown City Schools and Canfield City Schools. During which I development lesson plans, carried out lesson plans, worked one-on-one with students, and more. I have also spend the last four years working at the YSU Afterschool Progeam at Girard Intermedjate. I work with students every single day on their homework, in lesson planning, and improving the student’s motor, behavior, and emotional development.
I am someone who will be encouraging, supportive, and engaging environment who is energetic and well-qualified. With my experience working with children and especially at my job at the YSU After School Explore Program, I work with kids hands-on daily. I am given the responsibility of making sure students go from point A to point B. I make lesson plans so the students have an exciting activity for the day. I help students hands-on with homework. Most importantly, I help the students work together to build their social and emotional development skills with one another. I work hard to go above and beyond to make sure the students are in the best environment that they can be in while having fun and learning.
I am very proud to be working with children daily so that I can continue to receive experience and purse my love for education and working with children. I am currently still at YSU for education and I am going to graduate in Fall of 22 after my student teaching experience. I wilk graduate with my Primary and Primary Interventional Specialist Liscense for prek-5th grade. I love working with children and making a difference in their lives.
I would offer my energetic personality, and love for kids. Thank you for your time and consideration.
