I have been babysitting and nannying sense I was old enough to take the Red Cross babysitting training class. I started by watching my neighbors kids for a couple hours. Once I got a car, I started nannying for two families. I would pick the kids up from school drive then to their activities, drive them home and help with homework and get them something to eat. I also would babysit some friends kids whenever they needed. I have also stayed over a couple times at a families house because the mom worked nights. I would make the child dinner, play with them, get them ready for bed and read to them. My most recent babysitting was for a 3 month old. I was with her Monday- Friday for about 5 hours a day. That included changing diapers, going for a walk, feeding her, putting her down for naps and all other fun. I have a little brother I was always play and take car of. I love children and watching them grow up and think nannying is a great job!
I have a bachelors degree in criminal justice with a minor in communication. I also have my babysitter teaching certification, first aid, CPR and AED, Lifeguarding, and water safety instructor certifications.
