Ashlee B.
Since earning my bachelors degree, I have worked with children and adults who come from hard places. I helped foster youth and their families establish trust and healthy attachment as a foster care specialist. Currently, I’m a counselor intern at a corrections facility. I teach Cognitive Behavioral Intervention classes and take a individualized approach to care, helping clients recognize/regulate their emotions. I love my job, but I definitely miss working with children. I’m going back to school with the goal of eventually having my own private practice. I’m here so I can continue using my skills with a diversified demographic and supplement my income in the process since school costs money!
