I’ve been a nanny since I was 6 years when my mother got pregnant with my sister. Being the older sister and having a single mother has made me who I am today. I have been a caring sister and mother at the same time for my little sister when my mother could not be with us because of work. I am been protecting and educating her. From that time, I knew that children and I would always go along. People in my neighborhood would always ask me if I can watch their children in their absence and I would do it with pleasure and without asking for nothing in return. Taking care of kids is huge responsibility and it helps to pay attention to details. When I moved to the US in 2019, my first job was being a nanny to 2 kids of between 10-8 years old. I would take them to school and also pick them up, helping them with homework, cook for them and watch them until their parents come. I would also create a fun place for them for example playing puzzles, taking them to Mc Donald’s, to movies etc. I love making children feel comfortable with me.
