Rebecca L.
I'm currently a third year student at San Diego State University. I was born and raised in Guam, but moved to San Diego in 2019. While in Guam, I gained childcare experience through a volunteer program called Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guam. In that program, I volunteered as a mentor to several children from the ages of 9-14 years old. I helped them with homework, organized games and team building activities, and served as a positive role model for them. I also worked as a ballet instructor at SKIP Entertainment Dance Company, where I taught children from the ages of 3-4 years old. This gave me a lot of experience in working with young children; it taught me how to be patient, understanding, and caring towards them while also maintaining an authoritative-like role. I've also spent a lot of my highschool years babysitting my many nieces, nephews, and cousins, with ages ranging from 2-10 years old.
High School Diploma, will receive my BA in Psychology in 2023
