Trinity S.
I am dedicated to my students and their growth. I admit I always set high expectations for my students and who they are. I grew up with the saying "leave places better than they were when you got there." My goal is to always leave a positive impression. My actions reflect my character and my values. I worked as a lifeguard when I was in high school where I was certified in CPR and AED though it has expired. During that time I was an assistant swimming lessons teacher for pre-k students. Once reaching college, I wanted to teach high school English in which I am currently finishing my third year of English Language Arts Secondary Education. Last summer I worked at a daycare as a pre-k teacher. I have had a total of two practicums for grades 7-12. I have also had two partnerships(I teach a group of students in a class) for LPS. Currently, I have three jobs. I work as an office assistant, library assistant, and certified substitute teacher for GIPS. These will be ending after this semester. I am currently looking for a summer job.
I am currently a certified Substitute Teacher for GIPS. I am finishing my third year at UNL majoring in English Language Arts Secondary Education. I have had two practicums one with middle school students and one in High school and two partnerships for Lincoln HIgh and Lincoln North Star. I also have worked for the Cathedral Daycare in Grand Island last summer as a pre-k teacher.
