This is one of the first jobs I’ve gone into as a high schooler, this was a smaller job but required
lots of commitment and communication skills, considering we were working with others as well as
communicating with people that were uncomfortable and might not be able to communicate effectively
in their situations. I am able to work in stressful environments like this as I understand the importance of
communication as it is the way to growth and safety among others. I prioritize communication and the
safety of not only the people around me but also their safety in the future.
Daycare Assistant

During my time as a student in elementary and middle school, I used to help out at a daycare after school.
I would help out when I needed too and when I was asked too, I helped entertain the kids, feed them as
well as make sure they weren’t in a bad mood. I made activities for them to do to help keep them happy
and stimulate. When it got loud as all daycares have been, I was able to adjust the sound of it and help
calm them. I am able to work under pressure and use it to my advantage. I believe I work very well with
kids as I love being around them and working with them!

I have experience in leadership as well as in classroom leadership, I have been apart of many teams that
require, communication skills and being able to work effectively and efficiently with others.
During middle school I helped run a small daycare as well as a nursery for a church. I also have gone
through multiple classes covering babysitting as well as life guard training, including CPR training as well
as medical testing and training.
Additional information:
Growing up I have always enjoyed taking care of others, growing up with my mother being a nurse really
encouraged my interest in the medical field. I have always tried to get involved as much as I could, I’ve
gone over many medical studies, with the help of my mom, I have not yet enrolled for my first college
course. I think this will be a great opportunity to start learning more about taking care of others before
I go into anything serious.
