Since the time my little brother was born I’ve always loved taking care of him. My parents worked a lot when my siblings and I were growing up, which meant we needed to take care of each other. When I was 11 my mother was diagnosed with kidney failure and that meant mom and dad were gone a lot to doctors appointments; and for my siblings and I that meant a lot more of taking care of each other. My older brothers were off doing what older boys did and they left me home alone with at the time my 6 year old brother. I would cook, wash his clothes, help him with his homework, and put him to bed all on my own. I love watching kids and playing with them and also teaching them about colors and numbers shapes and many more other things. My friends and family always say that “kids are drawn to me” because no matter where I go little ones just seem to come right up to me like they have known me for years.
