Hi! I am 18 years old and a senior in high school. I am currently a member of my Girl Scout troop and have been involved for 12 years. I am also part of the Ready, Set, Teach program at my school. Last year, I interned in a 1st-grade classroom, and this year, I am interning in a 3rd-grade classroom. In addition, I have experience working with special needs children and am currently leading a project in my city to build a handicap-accessible park. I have two younger siblings, aged 13 and 5, whom I often help care for. After high school, I plan to attend a university to earn my degree in early childhood education, with a minor in deaf education. My long-term aspiration is to teach deaf children.
