Seeking ongoing care for infant in Port Washington, NY (11050). Nannies are welcome to apply!

We are looking for a nanny who is kind, caring, responsible, trustworthy, playful, energetic, smiley, experienced with infants, and is looking to grow with our family!

Our son is a sweet, smiley, curious, very alert, on the move, and easy baby! He is about to be 10 months old. He loves to play, to listen to music, to be read to, to go to classes and on play dates, to go for walks, and to have fun! He sits up on his own, sleeps through the night, eats solids, crawls, is pulling himself to stand, is babbling, etc!

The job would require making our son the #1 priority in the day to day and take care of all of his needs (i.e. preparing & feeding meals, diaper changes, playing, laundry, cleaning up after him in the kitchen [dishes/bottles], bathtime on some nights, etc.).

In addition, we are looking for some help with light housekeeping - to be done when we are out of the house with our son or he is down for a nap (i.e. vacuuming, changing our sheets 1x/week, washing & folding our laundry, wiping down counter tops, running the dishwasher - nothing crazy! We will have a housekeeper come weekly for a deep clean). Cooking is a plus!

We will work out a daily schedule, but are generally looking for help on Mon-Fri from 8am-6pm. However, there also may be days during the week (M-F) that we will need this person to babysit as we may go out at night. When that occasion arises, we can definitely work with our nanny to make sure they’re comfortable with the # of hours for the day (i.e. if they are going to babysit for us at night, they can start later in the day instead of 8am).
