Hiring a daycare near Elkhart, IN (46516) to watch my preschooler. Ongoing care needed for my preschooler.

To whom it may concern,
My name is Heather Burnett. I am looking for childcare for my special needs 5-year-old, Bexley. Here is a little about her:
She has been diagnosed with Adenylosuccinate lyase (ADSL) deficiency. A rare genetic disorder that disrupts communication from the brain to the body. It also shares some symptoms or behaviors with Autism (gets over stimulated, likes to do some repetitive activities, has some touch sensitives). This disorder also causes low muscle tone in Bexley’s trunk causing some mobility issues. She has a range of disabilities stemming from her genetic disorder. The most noticeable is she is nonverbal. She also cannot reliably go from a seated on the floor to standing position. She will need assistance getting up from the floor. She cannot crawl but is working on it and scoots pretty good now. She also cannot feed herself using utensils but can feed herself if you cut/rip up something like grilled cheese or something like that then she can pick up the pieces and do it herself.

Bexley is not potty trained. We did try to work with her on this, but she doesn’t understand when she must go pee and wasn’t communicating with us that she needed to go. The doctor told us to stop for a while to let her develop a little more before trying again. This means she will need to have her diaper changed throughout the day.

Bexley also has a G-Tube. She is allowed to have food by mouth and limited liquid by mouth. She still uses a sippy cup because of her motor ataxia, she dumps the liquid everywhere. We have a feeding pump. Normally, she sits down during the feeding process, but we do have a backpack she could wear to move around if that works better for wherever she will attend daycare. We will provide everything needed for this along with training/instructions.

Bexley goes to PACE through the Elkhart Community School system. She goes Monday through Thursday from 11:25am to 2:10pm. We would have to arrange bus transportation to and from the daycare facility.

Bexley also has therapy appointments and multiple doctor appointments so her weekly schedule will change from week to week.

I know there are limitations to what is allowed in a daycare facility, but she is not a regular 5-year-old. It might be easier to put her with kids that are younger because cognitively she is like a 2-year-old, but she is the size of a 5-year-old. We don’t want her to cause a hinderance with the other kids so where you would feel she fits in the best is up to you.
If you have an opening and are willing to meet to discuss the possibility of Bexley attending your facility, please let me know. We need childcare immediately.
