My son is 3 years old and full of personality, energy, and curiosity. He loves to explore new things, build with toys, listen to music, and engage in active play. He enjoys hands-on activities and responds best to positive attention, structure, and consistency throughout his day.
He is still developing his emotional regulation and communication skills, which sometimes makes it difficult for him to express frustration or follow directions when he feels overwhelmed. In those moments, he may throw toys, use strong language, or need a short break to calm down before re-joining activities. We are currently in the process of having him evaluated for possible developmental or behavioral support (including autism and ADHD evaluations) to better understand his needs and ensure he receives the right guidance.
At home, I use calm redirection, simple language, and positive reinforcement to help him communicate his needs and feelings. With patience, reassurance, and clear expectations, he responds well and is eager to please once he feels understood and supported.
He is a bright, loving child with a big heart, and we are committed to working closely with his teachers, therapists, and caregivers to help him learn, grow, and thrive in a structured and caring environment.
