Support local families We are seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable individual to care for and teach our 18-month-old son for 15-20 hours a week while I work from home. The days will vary based on my husband's work schedule, but the hours, whether mornings or afternoons, are flexible. This role is not just about supervision but about actively engaging him in play that fosters his language, motor, social, and emotional development, while teaching him important life skills such as cleaning up after himself. The ideal candidate will have experience in early childhood development and an understanding of the science behind it, bringing patience, creativity, and a nurturing approach to support his growth. Light meal prep and housekeeping related to his care are also part of the role. We are an inclusive family with a medium-sized dog, a cat, and two rabbits, so comfort with animals is important. Above all, we want someone who is kind, accepting, and passionate about teaching and guiding our son during this important stage of his life.
