My goal is to prepare each child for school and get them ready for kindergarten so no child is left behind. My program has a daily schedule and weekly lesson plans to engage children in learning. My lessons are flexible and reflects children's learning styles. My learning environment includes blocks, puzzles, reading, writing dramatic play, and arts and craft.My program is unique because I maintain good communication with parents and I offer transportation for families. The families and I have a close relationship and open communication. Everyday, I pick up and drop off the children in my program and work with the families' schedules. We support and help each other whenever there is a need.More importantly, I became a child care provider because I have always enjoyed caring for and helping children learn and grow. I am the oldest in my family and since I was 5 years old, I have been helping my parents care for my younger siblings. I now have four children of my own and three stepchildren that I care for. My passion for my child care program is to learn as much as I can to support my daycare children as well as my own children. I am very passionate about child care and I hope to maintain my licensed family child care program for a very long time.We use the Creative Curriculum to plan for and support the early learning and development of children in our program.
