Program At Tiny Explorers Daycare, we are very passionate about our children developing a love for learning at an early age. I refer to all of the children as “our” children because I feel like my job as a childcare provider is to support the parents in every way in regards to their child. Since each child will be spending 6+ hours at day care, we are working together to raise each child/children. It’s very important for us to be on the same page and provide the same structure and consistency. At Tiny Explorers we have a schedule that we follow, set meal times, play time, etc. We provide academic lessons daily. Every child including infants are being taught their alphabets (uppercase and lowercase) numbers, colors, shapes, days of the week, months of the year. The children go over sight words daily with an emphasis on phonics. I feel like that is one area that children need extra support in. By the age of 2- 2 1/2 we begin teaching the children how to write with a pencil. By the age of 3, many of the children are reading and from there able to master basic math concepts. With our patience, dedication and creative teaching techniques, we provide our children with a solid foundation to prepare them for the future.
Teachers My reason for starting Tiny Explorers was to provide parents and children with a good quality daycare. I started my daycare in 2012 but worked at other daycares prior. I am very patient, understanding, nurturing and sensitive to the needs of each child. I truly do have a love for children. I’m also a mother to 4 wonderful kids!
Assistant directors Ms. Whitney and Ms. Bria are both an extension of me. With that being said I was very careful in choosing assistants that love kids just as much as I do, and who shares the same vision and goals that I have for the future of our children and the daycare as a whole.
Tuition 
Location Our warm home has plenty of space for the children to play inside and outside. Inside our home, the children have access to many educational toys, and a work table they can use to write or draw. In our spacious backyard, the children can enjoy some fresh air while riding a tricycle or shooting some hoops.
Tucked away in the heart of Los Angeles, we are around the block from several local schools and shopping centers. It's truly a family friendly neighborhood with convenient drop-off and pick-up for families. We can comfortably accommodate families living in, working in or commuting to the following areas: Inglewood, Hawthorne, Gardena and West Athens
