Welcome to Sunrise Family Childcare! We offer childcare for families looking to provide their child with a loving and kind environment that’s just like home. At our home daycare, our goal is to help children learn important social, emotional, and behavioral skills that prepare them for a successful and happy future. We provide a strong educational base by teaching Project-based and Developmental Play-based activities. Our daycare operating hours are from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday - Friday.

Teachers

I earned a BS degree in early childhood education from the University of Maryland in 1996. I was a lead teacher at the Easter Seals Childcare Center at the National Archives in College Park Maryland until the year 2000, and I have been operating my own family childcare ever since.
Per Maryland Childcare Administration, my staff and I stay up-to-date with courses, certifications, CPR, and First Aid training requirements.

Location

Sunrise Family Childcare is a home daycare created to spark creativity and learning in a clean and safe environment. The daycare is on ground level with plenty of windows and sunlight. We also have dedicated areas for learning and activities that include a large backyard, a nap room, an art area, and a reading area.
