I try to understand the intentions and motivations of others. When you know what people are trying to do and how, it is easier to work together and have a result that is acceptable to everyone.A baby develops trust by seeing the same people and learning when they need something they will be taken care of.A toddler will learn independence on their own, when you give them the opportunity.Kids have to play and learn how to work out situations. Teaching sharing, manners, playing nice, listening, being respectful are important as their ABC's.Kids learn by what they see; if they see sharing and respectfulness when growing up, they will act that way themselves when they grow up. I see the older kids help/do the younger kid's projects. When we have lesson time, the kids have to be respectful and let their friend talk and take turns.How my Daycare is different:I work with the kids when they first come to daycare, letting them learn trust. They will learn to trust knowing when they are babies I will feed them, change them and comfort them when needed. As they get older I will also take care of them and comfort them when needed.I use the Creative Curriculum when I teach the kids their ABC's, numbers, we work on counting/ math, sharing, respect and working together. I let the order children help the younger children with their projects if needed. Every day before we start lesson, we do daily rules, the pledge of allegiance and prayers which will help them become a stronger individual.If there is loving, caring, respect, kindness in a child's upbrininging, that will affect the kind of toddler, schoolager, teen and adult they will be.I use the ECIPs for child development, I look at the ages of children I have in care and review the ECIPS books and what is expected of the children at their age to determine what we will work on.I provide nutritious meals and snacks for the kids. I make arrangements for a police car, fire truck, a tow truck, puppet shows and an ambluance to visit the daycare.
