Angels Among Us helps children learn and develop by providing an environment that focuses on the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children of all ages. I care and nurture each child's health, safety, education, and character. I provide an enriching environment where each child knows they are loved, respected, and supported. My philosophy is to be the facilitator of opportunities for each child's learning and growth. Each child is taught everything necessary and more before they start school provided by a balance of their leading at their own rhythm and unique learning style encouraged by my leading their development through my own created curriculum and structured activities. I believe in equal collaboration partnership with parents and myself to create a unified small community of families in and outside the daycare home. I value and respect each families diversities and approaches to child rearing. Therefore parent cooperation in my program is key to each child's success.My program is unique because I know how important and care deeply about a child's development in the first few years and I believe by creating a strong bond, consistency and a love for learning because it is fun, will create an everlasting effect into adulthood. My home away from home environment is unique because I specifically tailor my individually designed curriculum to the group I am currently caring for and their present interests. I believe my artistic freedom to plan the weeks activities according to the interests of the children in by care creates the creative thinking, problem solving, and exploration you can not teach but hope each child will discover. Each child in due time will learn their ABC's, 123's, colors, and shapes through my recognizing and seizing the appropriate teaching moment but not even the best teacher can teach a child what is at the core of learning which, is how to think or their disposition that is fostered at a young age through exciting opportunities in an uninhibited environment with a teacher just as excited and curious as I am to learn and discover as the child in my care.
