It is my objective to provide a positive, nurturing and enriching environment in which children can develop their emotional and social skills, artistic inclinations and physical coordination. My goal is to help children learn about themselves and their world in a warm and secure setting. I encourage self-directed activities and allow ample time for free play. Each child is encouraged to learn appropriate levels of independence as well as interdependence through self-initiated and teacher-initiated play. I put an emphasis on our manners, our behavior and empathy towards others. We also build unity within our daycare families as well as our community outside of our daycare.
