Hello parents my name is Richard I am the daycare provider at First Journey Daycare with my partner Jasmin whom you will also get to meet on site and is a super amazing mom and community mom well respected and loved, she also cooks amazingly by the way 🙂.Jasmin is who is on the profile pic actually. I myself previously worked for P.A.l ( Police Athletic League) as a park director here in the Bronx, Rosedale park to be exact. I helped provide recreational activities and trips for under privileged kids in the community I grew up in. I was also an after school recreational specialist and tutor to a kindergarten garden class assisting a certified board of education kindergarten teacher. I worked with P.A.L for 5 years, I currently work perdiem at NewYork Presbyterian as a mental health worker and have been doing that for 13 years. With all my experience working with kids and people I decided to start a Daycare, my desire and passion is to help families and children in my community. I just want to be able to help to my community, and Investing my time in helping guide children is what is driving me in this time of my life, it is my calling. Hope to meet you soon 🫡
