Program Welcome to Little Hearts Playhouse Daycare! We provide children ages 2–5 years old with a warm, nurturing, and engaging home-based learning environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. Our goal is to help every child develop the skills, confidence, and independence they need for success in preschool and beyond. Our bilingual Spanish-English program provides meaningful opportunities for children to develop language and communication skills in both languages, while American Sign Language (ASL) is incorporated to support communication and early learning. Our program focuses on preschool readiness and whole-child development, including Science of Reading–informed early literacy, phonological and phonemic awareness, early writing and letter formation, early math and number sense, social-emotional development, positive peer interactions, language development, self-help and independence skills, and hands-on, play-based and project-based learning experiences. We believe children learn best through meaningful experiences that encourage curiosity, independence, problem-solving, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. Teachers
Our program is led by a licensed and certified New York State teacher with over 15 years of experience in education and child development. Our teaching team is carefully selected to provide children with a safe, nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
All staff members complete required Health and Safety training, along with ongoing professional development in early childhood education, child development, positive guidance, and safety practices. Our lead teachers hold a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or higher-level qualifications in early childhood education.
Our teachers believe that young children learn best through a balance of purposeful play, hands-on exploration, meaningful interactions, structured learning experiences, and consistent routines. We focus on supporting the whole child by nurturing academic readiness, language and literacy, social-emotional development, independence, creativity, and physical development.
Above all, our educators strive to build strong, caring relationships with every child and family so that each child feels safe, valued, confident, and excited to learn.

Little Hearts Playhouse Daycare is a warm and welcoming home-based early childhood program located in a family-friendly residential area of Town of Newburgh, New York. Our space has been thoughtfully designed to provide children with the comfort of a home environment while offering engaging areas for learning, exploration, creativity, and play.
Our indoor learning spaces are clean, organized, and child-centered, with dedicated areas for literacy, dramatic play, art, building, sensory exploration, fine-motor development, and other hands-on learning experiences.
Children also have access to a private, fenced backyard where they can enjoy outdoor play, gross-motor activities, fresh air, and opportunities to explore nature in a safe and supervised environment.
For the convenience and safety of our families, our property includes a private driveway that provides an easy and accessible area for daily drop-off and pick-up.
