I hold a nationally recognized Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential in Family Child Care, which required over 120 hours of formal early childhood education training and 480+ hours of hands-on experience with children from birth to age 5.I have over 15 years experience in childcare.My training covered all key areas of early childhood development, including:
Planning a safe and healthy learning environment
Advancing children’s physical and intellectual development
Supporting children’s social and emotional development
Building productive relationships with families
Managing an effective program operation
Maintaining a commitment to professionalism
Observing and recording children’s behavior
Understanding the principles of child development and learning
In addition to my CDA credential, I also graduated from a college certificate program in Early Childhood Education, which deepened my academic knowledge of child development and best practices in early learning.
I’m also certified as a Lead Teacher and hold a Director II license through the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC), qualifying me to teach, supervise, and manage early childhood programs in accordance with state standards.
Both me and my assistant are licensed cpr and first aid certified both me and my assistant are required a certain amount of training throughout the year to ensure we stay up to date with the latest safety procedures and best practices in early childhood education.
