It Takes a Village Learning Academy is a family childcare which value each child individually. Our purpose is to provide an environment which is friendly, child welcoming, safe, nurturing, educational and socially enriching. An environment where children learn to be self confident. As a teacher I support a balance approach to teaching with child guided and teacher guided learning experiences. I use developmentally appropriate curriculum and the environment is rich in materials, experiences and interactions . I have more than 25 years experience in early childcare learning environments.

My certifications include: First Aid, CPR, a BA degree in Early Childhood Education, 4 Star Parent Aware rating and NAFFC national accreditation. Children are afforded positive learning experiences which allow them to flourish and reach their full potentials.

It Takes a Village Learning Academy is a home childcare created to spark creativity and learning in a creative environment . We also have dedicated areas for learning activities that include a child friendly backyard spaces, block area, a quiet room, an meal area, art area, active play, reading areas and morning meeting space.

Our St. Paul childcare is located in a family-oriented neighborhood with parks, an elementary school, and a middle school. We're only a door away from street parking and a few blocks away from accessible freeways.
