Program
Welcome to Holy Cross Ministries – School Readiness Program!
We offer a Preschool Program for children ages 3–4. If your child turns 3 after September, we can accept them once they are 3 years old at the time of enrollment. Our goal is to provide a loving, compassionate, and home-like environment where children can grow and learn.
Our main goals are to:
*Support families in spending mindful time with their children.
*Help students develop social-emotional skills.
*Build early writing and phonological awareness for a smooth transition to kindergarten.
We use a Montessori-inspired, play-based curriculum (Teaching Strategies) to create a strong foundation for future learning.
Our schedule is Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM. We do not have class on Fridays, as our teachers participate in professional training to ensure high-quality education for your child.
We also offer a bilingual learning environment. If your child will attend McPolin or Parley’s, we help them become familiar with Spanish before starting school.
Our community partners — including Park City Community Garden, EATS, Peace House, and Park City Community Foundation, Christian Center — enrich our program with fun activities like cooking classes and more.

Teachers
Our Team
Our lead teacher, Mrs. Gonzalez, is from Mexico. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Child Psychology and a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She also owned and directed a preschool in Mexico, bringing valuable experience and passion to our program.
Her assistant, Mrs. Niño, is also from Mexico. Early education was a new field for her, but through dedication and hard work, she has completed many trainings and classes to strengthen her professional skills and support Mrs. Gonzalez in the classroom.
I, Mrs. Chapa, am originally from Peru and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education with a focus on Foreign Languages. Although I trained to teach older students, my heart led me to work with young children. I have been part of this program for seven years, first as a teacher and now as the program coordinator.
All of our staff members are certified in First Aid, CPR, and Food Handling. They complete at least 20 hours of professional training each year in early childhood education to ensure that our students receive the high-quality education they deserve.

Tuition 
Location Holy Cross Ministries has a partnership with St. Mary’s. They allow us to use one of the classrooms in their building. Our location is 1505 White Pine Canyon Road, Park City, UT 84060. We are conveniently located near a bus stop, which we often use for our field trips.
