My name is Heather Moon. I have been offering child care services to families in my area for about 17 years. I have a BA in Elementary Education and I have raised three children of my own.I love being with children. Children thrive in an environment that offers love, stability, consistency and routine. I offer a balanced program of activity that includes academics, physical play, and social skills all of which are included in my preschool program. Because we are movers and shakers we often go on field trips to the library, parks, zoos and other child centered locations. I believe children are hands on learners. Each day the children and I recite our mantra, "I am kind. I am smart. I am important and I love myself!" The key to a successful program is open communication between myself and my clients, after all it is a group effort to make your child be the best person he or she can be.

Heather Moon provides childcare for families living in the Castle Rock area. Children engage in play-based, educational activities to help them achieve important milestones. The facility is a home daycare which fosters the development of social skills in a safe, caring environment. Heather offers support for special needs, including social emotional behaviors, respiratory illness, diabetes, physical delays/limitations, food/dietary, cognitive delays, and speech/communication.
