My philosophy offers choice for the more progressive trends in school readiness today. I feel children will learn through free play, if they have an interest in the activity. Without choice, interest is hard to sustain. Without content, the interest may not lead to learning useful things. We use the Early Learning success curriculum to plan for and support the early learning and development of children in our program. My program is unique because not only do I teach and care for the children, I treat them like family. We never go home before we give hugs and say I Love You. It's important to me to have children in my care feel as close to home as possible.
