Robert and Valerie also get the kids setup for kindergarten where they can read beginning level. My son didn’t go to PreK and stayed at the daycare because I knew he would end up thriving more with what he learns in their environment. He went into kindergarten considered “advanced” since he passed his test with an A+. To consider, my son was a part time kid and he still ended up successfully learning all the alphabet, the sounds, numbers and beginner level reading. Valerie is exceptional as a daycare provider, and practically feels like an extra parent to our daughter ;) She has cared for my daughter for over 2 years and we are truly sad it's time to move on. First off, she feeds very nutritious meals to the kids, and easily accommodated he...Read morer allergies (peanuts, dairy, and previously soy). Valerie did her own research to come up with other meal options without dairy, for example, and even created homemade desserts for her when they celebrated others' birthdays. My daughter never felt left out or different! She has yummy, healthy meals, including vegetable/fruit smoothies that the kids enjoy. I can't say enough great things about the education either. She teaches them letters, but more importantly focuses on teaching the sounds for recognition and an easier transition into reading/spelling. My daughter was learning things at 3 years old that my first child learned in Kindergarten. Like i said, exceptional. Valerie is also very communicative and is a mom of 3 grown kids herself, so she has lots of experience. We will greatly miss Valerie and the warm, caring setting she provided in her home. I highly recommend her!
