Welcome to The Little Nest Daycare and Preschool.My goal is to provide a safe and family-like environment for the children in my program while their parents are at work. I strongly believe in fun learning and lots of free plays where the children learn to be self learners, confident to express their ideas and develop their curiosity to always learn more about things they experience through all of their senses in our environment as well as what they bring from their own life experiences and things that they are interested in knowing more about. All play activities are designed to stimulate brain development, enhance socialization skills, physical strengths and intellectual capabilities while opening the door for the children to use their own unique inborn talents through guidance, supervision and participation along with French Language exposure for kindergarten readiness as well as lifelong learning and well-being of all the children in the program. We are also avid readers because we develop our love for books earlier on and keep it going.I am using an awesome curriculum called 1-2-3 curriculum which is a professionally planned infant/toddler/preschool curriculum. I am also doing DRDP assessments and share the results with the parents during conferences twice per year where we also create individualized goals for each child in the program based on our shared observations, in order to promote learning and development for everyone.

The Little Nest Daycare and Preschool provides childcare for families living in the Mounds View area. Children engage in play-based, educational activities to help them achieve important milestones. The director supports learning and administrative support in multiple languages including Other and None of the Above. The director offers age-appropriate programming for kids aged 3 months to 5 years.
