Country Pumpkins Home Daycare is exactly that....A Home! Many kids spend 8-10hrs. a day at daycare and I think a home like environment is important and comforting to them. We focus our day on learning new skills and building on old ones through activities and play. I encourage each child to be themselves and to be the best that they can be. We use a theme based approach to learning. I pick a theme and we do different activities that revolve around that theme. Many of our day to day learning is done through play and hands on experiences such as sensory tables, art projects, dramatic play centers. Our daycare is located on five acres of land in the country, giving kids all the room they need to run and play.
