At Concordia, we embrace that each child is unique and valued. We see ourselves as one community coming together to embrace the creative and unique spirit of each individual who enters our doors. The arts are incorporated in all areas of our day and play to help support each child's uniqueness and development. Children are involved daily in the Kindermusik music curriculum, process based art, and the Get Ready get set for school program. There is also a large emphasis on free, unstructured play inside and outside. We believe children need opportunities to move throughout their day and incorporate movement to support learning and social interactions with peers and adults. Our program is an integrated music and movement program and we create a culture in which all children are accepted and included.MissionWe are a Music, play-based preschool. We aim to encourage the naturalcuriosity, creativity, communication, and community in our kids. We believe in the innate drive of children to understand and experience the world through hands-on experiences, trial and error, and openness. Our small class size allows us to follow the interests of each child wherever they may lead. Our monthly themes guide our daily art and craft projects such as Ocean Life, Plants, Music, and Weather. We are highly focused on building the social and emotional skills that will create a foundation of confidence in community, good friends, and life-long learners.
